The Sheriff’s FAQ says court paperwork commonly reaches the jail around 3:30–5:00 p.m. depending on the day’s docket, so a completed hearing does not mean immediate physical release.

Money Orders and Legal Mail Are Different
The dedicated mail page says money orders are the exception to the third-party personal-mail route and may be mailed to the Bay County Jail Facility. Attorneys’ legal correspondence may be received and opened in the inmate’s presence.
