The Sheriff’s cash-bail process has strict payment rules, so verify the amount before going to the Public Safety Facility.
Cash bail or bond can be posted 24 hours a day, seven days a week at the Public Safety Facility. You will go through weapons screening and then use the in-custody records window.

Why a New Criminal Case May Not Appear Online
Minnesota Court Records Online is useful, but it has an important limitation for people searching immediately after an arrest.
Hennepin County District Court states that online records do not include pre-conviction criminal, traffic and petty-misdemeanor case information. That means a recent arrest can be real even when an MCRO name search does not yet provide the case information you expected.

Hennepin District Court provides a court-document copy request form, but an older PDF version still contains outdated fee information. Use the PDF for the information fields—not as the current fee authority.

The Sheriff provides in-person, online and mail deposit options. In-person deposits require the exact spelling of the detainee’s name and personal identification number (PAK).

The Sheriff says detainees pay a withdrawal transaction fee of 10% or a maximum of $10. Initial deposits, final withdrawals and money deposited for bail are exempt.

Hennepin County operates another correctional system in Plymouth, but it is not the same as the downtown Sheriff’s jail.
